چکیده

Lattice results on sigma terms and global analysis of parton momentum fractions are used to give the quark glue proton mass rest energy. The decomposition in trace energy-momentum tensor is renormalization group invariant. energy from Hamiltonian gravitational form factors scheme scale dependent. separation into traceless part which composed has minimum dependence. We identify anomaly $\langle H_{\beta}\rangle $ as vacuum condensate vacuum. From metric term factors, stress stress-energy-momentum tensor, we find that energy, dominated by H_{\beta}\rangle$, gives a {\it constant} restoring pressure balances confine hadron, much like cosmological constant Einstein introduced for static universe. lattice calculation H_{\beta}\rangle$ charmonium, deduce associated string tension turns out be good agreement with Cornell potential fits charmonium spectrum.

Graviton Mass or Cosmological Constant?

To describe a massive graviton in 4D Minkowski space-time one introduces a quadratic term in the Lagrangian. This term, however, can lead to a readjustment or instability of the background instead of describing a massive graviton on flat space. We show that for all local Lorentz-invariant mass terms Minkowski space is unstable. We start with the Pauli-Fierz (PF) term that is the only local mass...

Global monopoles, cosmological constant and maximal mass conjecture

We consider global monopoles as well as black holes with global monopole hair in Einstein-Goldstone model with a cosmological constant in four spacetime dimensions. Similar to the Λ = 0 case, the mass of these solutions defined in the standard way diverges. We use a boundary counterterm subtraction method to compute the mass and action of Λ 6= 0 configurations. The mass of the asymptotically de...

Complementary Measures of the Mass Density and Cosmological Constant

The distance-redshift relation depends on the amount of matter of each type in the universe. Measurements at different redshifts constrain differing combinations of these matter densities and thus may be used in combination to constrain each separately. The combination of Ω0 and ΩΛ measured in supernovae at z ∼ 1 is almost orthogonal to the combination probed by the location of features in the ...

Mass of the dilaton and the cosmological constant

One might raise a question if the gravitational scalar field (dilaton) mediates a finite-range force between local objects still behaving globally as being massless to implement the scenario of a decaying cosmological constant. We offer a non-negative reply by a detailed analysis of the field-theoretical quantization procedure in relation to the observationally required suppression of the vacuu...

3 Photon mass and Cosmological constant bounds from spacetime torsion

Photon mass and Cartan contortion bounds recently obtained from tiny Lorentz violation observations in cosmology are used to find a limit of λ ≤ 10 −4 α for the massive photon-torsion dimensionless coupling. Here α represents the fine-structure constant. A gauge invariant Proca electrodynamics in spacetime endowed with torsion in de Sitter spacetime is used to obtain an upper bound for the pres...
